Visit the Rare Animal Reproduction Center

The Rare Animal Reproduction Center, located just 100 km from Agadir in Morocco, covers 200 hectares and houses more than 7,500 animals from 213 species, spanning continents from the Arctic to Africa. We're dedicated to safeguarding and protecting endangered species, and our successes include the first-ever Moroccan breeding of wolverines, vicuñas, Marco Polo sheep, and Far Eastern storks. You can visit us individually or with a group to observe these animals in their natural habitats.

What do zoo visitors need to know?

  • Can you buy animals from the zoo?

No, buying animals from the zoo is not possible. Zoos exist to conserve and protect endangered species and promote animal welfare, not to sell animals to the public.

  • Can you donate animals to the zoo?

Typically, donating animals to the zoo is not allowed. Zoos carefully manage their animal populations for health and genetic diversity.

  • Why are some enclosures not accessible to visitors?

Certain enclosures are off-limits to provide animals privacy and meet their specific environmental needs.

  • Where should you take a homeless wild animal?

For homeless wild animals, it's best to contact local wildlife authorities or rehabilitation centers for proper care.

  • Can you take photos and videos at the zoo?

Yes, you can take photos and videos for personal use, but be respectful and follow zoo rules.

  • What restrictions are there at the zoo?

Common restrictions include no littering, not disturbing animals, and following posted rules for safety and conservation.

  • Can you bring your pet to the zoo?
